General description
Suppository packing consists of PE and AL or PE and PVC, two models feature polyethylene film layer as the base layer, and then a soft aluminum foil layer or a polyvinyl chloride hard layer is attached to the polyethylene film layer, thickness of polyethylene film layer is often 25-40μm, thickness of soft aluminum foil layer is often 40-50μm, thickness of polyvinyl chloride hard layer is often 100-150μm.

Suppository packing features excellence property of flexibility, tearability and formability, particularly suitable for temperature, temperature-sensitive suppository packaging, and this suppository packing also features nontoxicity can be contacted suppository medicine directly, and cannot be effect with the drug or matrix physically and chemically. This suppository packing can be also used to pack other medicine that have same requirement as suppository.
Suppository packing is often devised rectum suppository, vaginal suppository, urethra suppository and etc. and most often used is rectum suppository and vaginal suppository, in order to adapt to application of the body parts, suppositories of the different traits and weight, are generally clearly defined, and then suppository laminate film packing is accordingly varies.

1. Rectum suppository packing is often available in conical, cylindrical, torpedo and other shapes, and inner length is approximate 3-4cm;
2. Vaginal suppository packing is often available in spherical, ovate, duckbill and other shapes, and inner diameter is 1.5-2.5cm;
3. Urethra suppository packing is available male or female purpose, for male, inner diameter is 1-1.5cm; for female, inner diameter is 0.6-0.75cm
