Aluminum Foil Paper
Aluminum foil paper that is also called
paper aluminum foil,
is used to
pack medical powder or medical granule, compared to plastic aluminum
plastic packaging widely used in present market, aluminum foil paper
features following advantages:
1. High strength and rigidity in mechanical property to ensure bags
can be strong in shape;
2. No needing to make easy- tear in automatic packaging due to
property of easy-tear of aluminum foil paper;
3. Aluminum foil layer cannot be destroyed in automatic packaging to
assure that barrier property of aluminum foil layer can be
sustained.
Aluminum foil paper is belong to pharmaceutical composite film, and
is classified in the type Ⅳ paper, aluminum, plastic in
YBB20062012(draft) standard.
Main technical requirement for aluminum foil paper is as follows:
1. Appearance
Perforations, foreign body, odor, adhesion, composite layer
separation and significant damage, bubbles, wrinkles, dirt and other
defects shall not appeared, the heat sealing parts of the bag should
be smooth and empty
2. Water vapor permeation
Test temperature: 38℃±0.6℃, Relative humidity: 90%±2%, Water vapor
permeation:≤1.5g/(m2•24h)
3. Oxygen permeation
The heat seal faces the low pressure of oxygen, test temperature:
23℃±2℃, Oxygen permeation: ≤3.0cm³/(m²•24h•0.1MPa)
4. Inner layer and secondary inner layer peel strength: ≥2.5 N/15mm
5. Heat sealing strength: ≥12 N/15mm
6. Solvent residue:
The total amount of solvent residue should not be exceeded 5.0mg/
m², which benzene solvent residue shall not be detected, limits of
benzene detected from single solvent shall be 0.01mg/ m²
7. Dissolution test
a. Easy oxide shall be not exceed 1.5ml,
b. non-volatile: residue of water non-volatile shall be not exceed
15.0 mg, 65% residue of ethanol non-volatile shall be not exceed
30mg, residue of N-hexane non-volatile shall be not exceed 30mg,
Basic configuration of aluminum foil paper is Paper and Alu
or Paper, Alu and PE or Alu, Paper and PE, aluminum foil paper is
offered to replace composite film, compared to composite
film, aluminum foil paper is environmental and effective in packing.

aluminum foil paper, and whether the
aluminum foil paper shall be printed or not. We
